Company / Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we get before the first order.

How we quote, what an RFQ needs, where we deliver, and the standards we work to — answered plainly. If yours is not here, an engineer will answer it within one business day.

01 — Working with ELiTE

Working with ELiTE

Q01What does ELiTE actually do?+
ELiTE is an industrial supply and engineering company based in Amman, Jordan, operating since 2003. We supply equipment, materials and spare parts across 21 product categories, and deliver engineering services from specification review through to turnkey EPC. In practice most customers come to us with a duty to solve rather than a part number to buy.
Q02Which industries do you supply?+
Twelve sectors, listed in full on our industries page — oil & gas, power generation, cement and aggregates, mining and minerals, iron and steel, water and wastewater, petrochemicals, fertilizers, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals and food, infrastructure and utilities, and defense and public sector.
Q03Do I need to know exactly what I want before contacting you?+
No. If you can describe the service — the medium, the pressure and temperature, the standard, the sector — our engineers can work back to the right specification. You can also try the product finder, which maps a plain-language description to the relevant catalogue categories before you speak to anyone.
Q04Are you a manufacturer or a distributor?+
Both a representative and a supplier. We hold official representation for a number of international manufacturers — listed on our principals page — and we source more broadly from vetted manufacturers where a duty calls for it. Where you name a brand we do not represent, we will tell you what equivalent we can offer.
02 — Quotations & RFQs

Quotations and RFQs

Q05How do I request a quotation?+
Send your requirement through the RFQ form, email sales@elite-itc.com, or call +962 (6) 5517916. Our engineers respond within one business day.
Q06What should an RFQ include?+
As a rule: what the item is, the size or rating, the material or standard, the quantity, and the service conditions it will see. Anything you cannot confirm yet can be marked TBC — an incomplete RFQ is still worth sending, because the gaps are usually the first thing our engineers would ask about anyway.
Q07Can you work from a tender document or BOQ?+
Yes. Paste or attach it to the document-to-RFQ tool and it will extract the line items and map them to our catalogue, or simply email the document and an engineer will work through it with you.
Q08I only have the equipment, not the paperwork. Can you still identify spares?+
Usually. Photograph the nameplate and use the nameplate lookup, or email the photo to us — manufacturer, model and ratings are normally enough for our engineers to identify the spares you need.
Q09Do you quote prices online?+
No. Pricing depends on specification, quantity, delivery terms and current manufacturer lead times, so every price comes from an engineer rather than a published list. The assistants on this site map requirements to categories and draft RFQs; they never quote.
03 — Supply & delivery

Supply and delivery

Q10Where do you deliver?+
Door-to-door across Jordan, and DDU/DDP to the region through established air and sea gateways. Our project delivery extends across the Levant and GCC — see the Jordan page for how our base shapes regional coverage.
Q11What are your lead times?+
They depend entirely on the item and its manufacturer — stocked consumables and made-to-order process equipment sit at opposite ends of that range. We give a lead time with every quotation rather than a general figure, and if you are working to a shutdown date, say so in the RFQ so we can plan supply around your window.
Q12Can you support a planned shutdown or turnaround?+
Yes, and it is worth telling us early. Turnaround supply is consolidated and scheduled against your shutdown window, and we keep 24/7 support available by phone during a shutdown even though our offices run Sunday to Thursday, 09:00–17:00.
Q13Do you supply spare parts for equipment you did not originally supply?+
Yes. Spare parts and consumables is a standing category, and identifying parts for existing installed equipment — including equipment bought elsewhere — is routine work for our engineers.
04 — Standards & quality

Standards and quality

Q14Which standards do you work to?+
Whichever the duty and the sector require — API, ASME, ASTM, EN, ISO, IEC and NACE come up most often. If you are unsure which grade or standard fits your service, our engineers will confirm it before you commit to a purchase order; every category page also carries a standards helper for quick questions.
Q15Can you provide certification and mill certificates?+
State what you need in the RFQ — mill certificates, certificates of analysis, or other documentation — and it will be quoted and supplied with the goods.
Q16Do you offer support after delivery?+
Yes. On-site technical support, supervision and commissioning are part of our service lines, alongside spare-parts pipelines, training, and monitoring between overhauls. The full list is on the services page.
Q17Can you review a specification before we buy?+
That is one of the most useful things we do. Specification review and material selection — metallurgy, ratings, seal and coating choices — happen before the purchase order, which is where a wrong choice is cheapest to correct.
